Stumbled upon this rugged denim shirt last weekend. I had stopped wearing cowboy Americana for maybe ten years partly for my jobs, but this shirt had an urban twist, reminded me very much of Isabel Marant, so thought I could let myself have it. The embroidered tattoo on the back, by artist Don Ed Hardy, is simply stunning. LOVE KILLS SLOWLY – don’t we all agree?
Got this in XL for an easy, slouchy look.
When it comes to wearing scarves, look no further than Hermès.
You see it has been perfect weather these days in Saigon for scarves. You need one to keep you warm and chic from home to work on the chilly mornings, and back home from work when the breezes are a bit more than pleasant. All you need to do is find the right fabric and colour/pattern to go with your outfit, and with Hermès inspirations pick the best style for the look. Play with them and you’ll find wearing a scarf is so much more than just let its both ends hang helplessly on your front, I promise.
The Mini Cape is my favourite. I have only one square scarf and being fluffy and oversized it happens to make the best of the style. When I tried it a couple of months ago someone called me a batwing woman – a compliment. Let’s hope I will recreate the look soon and snap a picture for you.
Can’t wait to see you on the street, with a scarf creatively and beautifully worn.
